About the Role:

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications to residents as per physician's orders and company policies.
  • Monitor and document residents' health status and medication effectiveness.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities while promoting independence.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and family members.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
  • Maintain accurate medication records and reports.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to residents and their families.
Requirements:
  • Valid Registered Medication Aide certification in Virginia.
  • Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medication administration and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare is a plus.
